 It is a great little watch, so simple, so well done.
I have been buying watches from out of the far east, searching for high value pieces. I had never thought of looking to a US brand but this one (which is Still only branded with a US name) only popped out while I was skimming through images. It was SO inexpensive, and it is the only watch I have ever received any complements on. It's ironic. It's an indication that even the old school bargain brands know how to make the face look Good.

I wear it with a certain form of pride and never feel like I have made an error. It is super simple and EASY to read, 'keeps time like a Timex :-))

Fantastic watch for the price
I needed a watch to wear occasionally when I don't have the ability to go into my pocket to check my phone. It had to be legible, display military time, wouldn't mess up if I didn't wear it very often, and would be okay if I forgot and stuck it in water. I was replacing a Heuer diving watch that was too expensive to fix. After hours of making myself crazy - not going to buy an autowinder for a watch and my days of 1,200.00 watches are over - I decided on this one. It is heavier and larger than I remember 40mm watches being - my wrist is on the smaller side, and maybe 38mm would have been better, but I can read the dial without my glasses, so 40mm works for me. For what I need, this watch is perfect.

Poor little watch
My Expedition Scout has seen its fair share of abuse. It’s been dragged through rivers, thoroughly dusted in the desert, and has taken the kind of hits that would retire most watches—like being smashed against roll cages and slammed into desks after misjudging their distance one too many times. Through it all, it hasn’t missed a beat, keeping perfect time while developing a slight patina.

What really surprised me was the Indiglo feature—it’s by far one of the best illumination methods I’ve ever seen, lighting up the dial flawlessly in the dark. Although the strap doesn’t fit my wrist perfectly, since I’m between holes, it’s still incredibly comfortable and shows no signs of wear despite all the rough treatment. For the price, I don’t think there’s another watch out there that could take this kind of punishment and still look this good.

Great watch at a great price
Great watch at a great price. Purchased as gift for friend like vintage military things plus has been wanting a solar watch....this turned out to be perfect choice. Only thing friend wished it has was ... instructions, you have to look them up on line rather than having them in box. Well made watch & very happy with purchase.

 Simple, forever watch
Once you set the time on this, you make never interact with it again other than looking at it. It's solar. The tiniest bit of light keeps it going. There's nothing to break or go wrong. It's great looking and matches any outfit. It's waterproof. It's great looking, and versatile. You should still probably get a Casio Duro if you want a simple watch, but this is the same kind of thing but solar.
