packaging wasn't great, but gorgeous watch
This is a gift for my dad...unfortunately the metal tin it came in had a serious dent in it, not that my dad is the type to care (he's probably worn the same 5 shirts for 50 years) but I'm really glad the watch itself wasn't ruined. You would think a watch of this price would be better packaged. Nonetheless, its a great deal, its beautiful, and I can't wait to give it to my dad for Christmas!
refurbished??
I love the watch it showed up in a timely manner BUT the can had NO cover and No instructions now ,this made me think that its not new the plastic wrap on the band was still there and obviously it has not been worn but the missing instructions seem weird ,I've had enough watches to understand the basics but still I know Fossil better then this these watches are fine instruments for the money, I recommend Fossil watches for the simple fact that #1 for the price you get a real time piece not some stamped out look alike (you know the ones with small dials that are only painted on) #2 this watch will stand up to daily life and still look good and of course # 3 is the price ,this will be my second Fossil watch the other is gunmetal and it was my daily driver I say was because this new one will be a real show stopper .
Very stylish watch at a great price.
I bought the gold and silver toned watch. Almost a bit too flashy - would have been better with a matte finish on the bezel, face and hour markers to tone it down a bit. So far, though, I like it. I use it for travel when I have to dress up a little for business meetings. Didn’t want an expensive watch that I have to take off occasionally for security check points, or leave in hotel rooms while working out or doing outdoor activities, etc. This one fits the need nicely.
Changeable watch band
I was very skeptical at first because none of the pics showed a good view of the bottom of the watch to determine if you could change out the watch band. I've always loved Fossil for this but it seemed like they only offered that style for their smart watches son its good to know this one can change out the band all together too. Aside from that big feature for me the watch has a nice weight to it and the gold tone matches perfect with my gold jewelry I already have 10/10.
Great Watch Even For a Woman
I love Fossil watches. I have a Gen 3 Smartwatch and gifted my daughter with one as well. I use my Smartwatch for work (Mon-Fri) and I wanted an everyday watch. This style watch was also available at Macy's but at a more expensive price so I was extremely happy to find this watch on Amazon at a lesser cost. I did have to take the watch in to Fossil to remove some of the links to fit my wrist. (I'm a woman. I like the big face, men's watches.) Everything on the watch is functional and I've not had any complaints.
