good value for the money
I was pleasantly surprised by this sub $20 dollar watch. I purchased this watch for knocking around.
However it's appearance is quite nice. The dial has a nice easy to read face that is quite bright in daylight. The led light for the dial is very bright and you won't have any problems in reading the dial using this light at night. The watch claims to be water resistant. I already had it exposed to a light rain without any problems. I particularly like the velcro band. It allows you to adjust the band to fit your wrist exactly. No more bands sliding down your wrist because the holes in the band don't quite fit! Of course the quartz movement keeps perfect time. I also like the fact that the back of the watch can be removed with a fine point phillips driver making battery replacement easier. In summation I rate this watch a good value for the money.
Perfect for the weekend, casual, light, excellent price
The Casio Forester is a watch that I have been chasing for some time, I got it on offer, and I am super happy I got it (2X USD). The design is casual, it is conveniently light, and the looks are pretty much relaxed, for the outdoors, so perfect for a weekend going to the park, it is an extra piece of outfit that is it really fits a casual look going outside. The price is great, so you don't have to worry if you scratch it or dust it while doing outdoor activities. It has a piece of velcro that cannot be covered, besides that, I read the battery replacement is difficult, but I will get there when I get there. Overall, 5/5.
You Can't Beat 10 Yrs of Flawless Service for 20 Bucks
I purchased this watch in 2014 and just put my third battery in it. This is the epitome of Casio at its best: a good-looking cheap watch that's cheap to own and run - case and crystal is still good, band is still good, waterproofing still appears to hold, and it takes on of the cheapest batteries. Probably the most five-star of all five-star reviews I've given.
Durable and convenient
Got this for hubby almost a year ago and with daily wear working construction it’s still holding up great. He did change the strap on it to a silicone one since the one in came with took a while to dry when it got wet. It keeps time well and is easy to read. The backlight button is really nice to for checking the time when it’s dark without having something glowing all the time
Nice watch for the money.
It feels a little like cheap plastic but seems to hold up ok. I like the look of it. I especially like the way the whole face lights up when you press the button. It's an orange light which I wasn't expecting but I really like it. The band is comfortable to wear. I just wish it opened up enough that I could just slide it over my hand instead of having to completely undo the strap.
