such a good watch
Amazing watch. looks great, simple design, does everything I need. At work I frequently need to mark down the current time and date and got tired of having to pull out my phone all the time and also noticed my manager walking by every time I pulled my phone out to check the time oops. Has been much easier to just glance at my wrist as I'm writing. I try to take it off when handling water but seems to hold up pretty well. Forgot to take it off when cleaning dishes for 30 minutes, it got soaked, and it still works perfectly fine. As many other people have said, the light sucks. I never need to use it though and don't mind as I only wear it at work.
Perfect
The durability of these watches are FANTASTIC. they are great for wearing in water even (I'm not sure how deep but in a swimming pool and washing your hands have never affected it.) I've bought two now of different colors and both have worked great and are lasting. The ight is perfect for reading the time in the dark as well when needed. The band is easy to use. For those of you with sensory issues I will say something that's annoying is that you have to adjust it as you wear it throughout the day. Like the extra smaller band will slip around letting the extra loose band pop out. Unfortunately for my experience I wish there was one notch in-between two of the notches because ones too lose and ones too tight. Another thing is now easy it is to accidentally press the buttons if you are tucking your shirt in or working with your hands. Which might mess up your time if you don't hear the beep when it's hit. That all being said, the value for your money is great unless you are worried about the things I've mentioned above.
A True Utilitarian Classic Watch
I love this watch because of its simplicity. I consider this watch to be utilitarian and perfect for anyone who works with their hands, outdoor laborious work; basically a tradesman’s watch. It is basically the same watch from many years ago introduced by Casio that started the digital watch revolution. Its old style uniqueness is a conversation starter as well. The price and watch is such that you can put it through the wringer and not worry or feel bad about it. It certainly will hold up to whatever you throw at it. Yes, it’s small, the band could be better, but it’s actually just perfect how it is and what it is for. I love this watch and it makes me smile every time I look at it - a sort of nostalgic simplicity that is just there, kind of like a reliable friend. Great watch, but know your expectations and requirements before ordering to make sure it will be what you want.
Got Me Through Bootcamp
This watch has seen some stuff. I wore it all day, everyday in bootcamp. I never took this thing off, not even to shower. I wore this thing while crawling through sandpits, climbing up ropes, and doing pushups on concrete. When I would wake up in the middle of the night, I would use the light to see what time it was and if I should go back to bed. When I was in a formation, I would wear it backwards so the person behind me could see what time it was. When I was in the shower, I would set the alarm really fast so we wouldn't be late out of the shower. This is THE bootcamp watch. And if it can get someone through bootcamp, then if you're looking for a simple cheap watch that has the very few features you need and none of the features you don't, then buy this one. This is the perfect watch for most use cases. No, it's not pretty. No, it doesn't have any crazy features. But when you need to know what time it is, when all the days seem to blur together, and when you have real work to do, this watch will keep time. Always there on your wrist helping you know how many more hours until your next task. Ol' Reliable.
Nice look, value, durability, accuracy
It is slim. I so enjoy that it is waterproof, has a slim clear plastic band that is sporty-looking. Im in the pool often, and the typical black wristband got Ashy look in its grooves. Not oversized, as I am 5'2". My 14yo grand daughter is on a swim team and never takes it off. I would be in heaven if this watch had a pedometer.
I have worn Casio Since it became popular in the 80s. It has been so reliable for me. My scientific calculator, purchased in the 70s, was given to my grandson 2020, still working. My 4yo black Casio started leaking inside when I started to change its battery, not being mindful of its perimeter ring which kept moisture out. When it dried out, it still worked! But, somehow, the seal was no longer effective. I now have it pinned to my armchair! :o) Because of me, I have 3 generations wearing Casio.
